Inside Ilford

Interesting.... I wonder what percentage of capacity they now work at..

Excellent spot Simon, and thanks for posting. I noticed that the Rolleiflex being loaded at 5.16 has a metal rod which the film goes under, and I'm wondering if that's for tensioning the film and keeping it tight?

No. It's the automatic counter sensor. Most 120s need you to line up backing paper arrows with red dots or arrows near the film gate. The Rolleiflex Automats did away with that by fitting the sensor bar. Just feed the film under the bar, attach it to the take up spool and close the back. Then wind until the lever locks and you're ready for the first shot.
