Hi everyone! First post here...here goes.

I have a Canon 5d Mk II and recently the 1-yr warranty that came with it expired. I bought this camera in Singapore but am living in the UK. Does anyone have any recommendations as to which insurance company I should go for? I do destination weddings as well as weddings within England, so I'd need a plan that covers for international usage. Thank you!

I'm with infocusinsurance.co.uk. Best policy I could find for the money £8000 all risks up to 45 days international cover, sensible locked car/hotel room theft policy (i.e. no "only covered during the hours of" style clauses). Less than £200/yr. Single item limit £5000...

It would be interesting to hear from people with a claim experience? From my experience (not camera equipments claim) all insurance companies are great until one tries to claim :bang:

I guess your still covered but will have to prove you have them, i have all serial numbers and date codes written down in case

When insuring, you can register all the serial numbers.
