Interesting Sky From My Balcony

Here are two of the photos I took from my balcony today as I noticed the sky was starting to look quite nice. I jsut wish I had of walked a bit up the road where I probably would have got a decent shot.

I like silhouettes, but there's too much solid black there. Maybe could have done with a bit more detail in the foreground?

Yeah, that was the one with least black, or I think it was. I tried to get my balcony in the foreground, but for it to show I needed to use the flash, which made it look really silly. YOu can probably imagine.
