iphone mail help

Iv just got an 3Gs today and iv got my email set up no problem however i only want it to show the unread email however it shows the top 25 most recent emails i have in my inbox is there anyway i can set it so it just shows the unread emails.

I thought that once you read an email on the iPhone, it placed the email at the bottom of the emails you have in your inbox. Therefore displaying the unread emails at the top? I believe mine does that.

What sort of mail server are you connecting to?

The iPhone email is quite basic. It will keep the read messages on there until they are deleted from the phone.
You can change the number of messages in the mail settings but not the order.

as far as i know anyways, ive looked at all the settings quite a bit.
Just a pain in the bum that there isnt a decent mail client for the iphone.
