No its a Grey Squirrel. Caught this cheeky chappie yesterday, and no amount of clapping and shouting would scare him away. Stopped short of throwing stones at him.

Needles to say there were no birds to be seen during his presence.

we had a similar problem I ended up using two metal hanging baskets to make a ball and put the feeder inside.
I did have to tie some wire across the larger holes to stop the squirrels squeezing through.
Having sorted that the bird love it as they can perch on the wire frame while they are waiting their turn.
The only draw back is that it is absolutely useless as far as taking pictures of the birds.
