is it too much of a gamble?

Hi there,
I've got myself in a bit of a pickle with an upcoming wedding on July 14th.
I currently own 2x canon 20d bodies with various lenses and recently discovered the camera's biggest draw back when shooting a wedding reception....LOW LIGHT photography.

I was shocked at how bad the noise was at high ISO (1600+).

I am now left with 2 options, which area; shooting the wedding as normal knowing what I now know about the 20ds performance in low light, then simply emigrating to another country before the bride and groom see the results...OR... perhaps hire the 5d mkII for the day and prey its easy to navigate around to capture the crucial moments perfectly.

I've seen the mkII for £75 a day online. Would it be a good idea taking a gamble on using this body over one I know really well?

I can't really afford 2 days usage at this price as the wedding isn't costing the couple a great deal for my services being friends of mine.

I'm not too confident about getting the images they want with my 20d now.

It's a tough one - any ideas guys please?

I'd happily shoot a wedding with those cameras, what lenses do you own?

Buy a flash gun and learn to use your cameras properly.

Also,don`t pitch for work you can`t do..................

If it was me (and I'm by no means a pro) I wouldn't dream of doing a wedding with a camera that I'm not familiar with.

I realize that the feel of the camera will be similar to the 20D, but you need to know how the camera will capture different situations. Just because it's a "better" camera, doesn't mean you're guaranteed to take better pictures.

I'm going to be second shooting at weddings in a couple of months, and I'm already trying to learn the in's and out's of my own camera which I already use almost every day, in order to prepare myself for the various situations a wedding will present.

To me a wedding is the last place I'd want to learn to use a new camera!
