Is Servo focus on the x-pro 1 close to useless?

Hi all

I have recently invested in some Fuji gear to run alongside my Canon kit.

On the whole I love the cameras and I'm mostly using them for still targets. Occasionally I'd like to use servo focus though.

From what I can tell the stupid camera does a smashing job of follow-focussing and then the moment you press the shutter it decides to focus all over again - what is the point of that?

Is this my misunderstanding or is it a very odd way to servo focus?

I felt the same with my ex-pro the c-focus was next to useless

Best thing to do is put it in af-c just press the shutter it will take the photo when in focus not ideal but works.
