New to photography and know nothing about camera bags and picked up the Crumpler Muffin Top Full Photo today and was wondering if this was a good quality bag or should I have bought something else?

Loads of people on here (apart from me) seem to have one and we're not all Muppets :D, so it's probably a very good camera bag, yes.

Best of all, they don't look especially like a camera bag to the casual thief, so it might even be a wiser choice than you thought (y).
 
No complaints here.
Good storage space and ideal for a laptop/camera all-in-one in my opinion due to it not looking like either :D

I will be getting a toploading bag for certain occassions though as the access aspect of the Crumpler could be an issue in some circumstances.
