Is This a Good Deal?

Hi all,

I'm looking to buy a proper mini tripod to replace the jessops ball bearing headed one I have at the moment which can't support the wieght of my DSLR. Is this a good price for this tripod http://www.amazon.co.uk/Velbon-Mini...4?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1329865347&sr=1-4

Specification on Wex web site says maximum load is 1000 g which is about 2.2 lbs. I would not have thought that many DSLRs with lens will weigh less than that. Suspect that it would be more suitable for users of compact cameras.

Velbon's website says it can support up to 5kg and my dslr weighs 495g so it should be fine
