Ivory Gull

Taken in St Lawrence river, Canada.
This is an Ivory Gull. Pure white. Weather was terrible, but shivering to death I managed to capture this so,so shot.

Ive missed a couple of these over the years, still remains a holy grail of birds to see.

I walked out on deck to look at the ice and nearly fell over when I seen the Gull Species feeding in the water current lanes just off the ice flows.
They where around 100metres away, even with a 500mm lens hand held it was a push.
