In the market for a new 77mm CPL filter.

I had a Hoya pro 1, but it appears to have disappeared of the face of the earth, possibly lost somewhere while out and about. :thumbsdown:

Anyway a quick scan on ebay came up with these.

Not ever having had a Jacobs in the mighty Norn Iron I know nothing about there own brand gear. Possibly not great I would expect, but I don't want to spend much more as it will only be used very occasionally and a replacement Hoya is double the price.
 
Looks pretty decent, it's worth reading up to see if Jacobs are rebranded versions of other filters. I have a Jessops one I bought on staff discount for my 50mm for £6 and it works fantastically.
