Hi all,
Found more life out in the hills here, Not sure what happened to some shots, look a bit colourless, anyhow, minor things worry no one.
#1 Found this Ant tending to a small cluster of Aphids

#2 A nice Lacewing

#3 At long last they arrive, the stick insects, about 2 inches long so maybe last years babies.

Cute face of No.3 & 6, great find and shots Graham:)
Thanks icy, my other half found lots of stick insects, well she does have better eyes than me lol
That cricket shot for me is outstanding.

#1 steals the show for those pincers!

Paul.
Cheers Paul, I was going to do a close crop of the head and jaws but decided against it.. Got to love these big ants.

Great set the first one of the ant is superb like the butterfly a lot too it is a brown argus but not sure what type northern or normal

Great finds there Graham, the stick insect is my favourite and I know they are not easy to shoot and you have done a better job than me!
I agree with Graham that the stick insect is the best, love it's pose and look.
Thanks guys, much appreciated as always. Yes that stick insect is nice and these were always moving so not easy to shoot but as I said somewhere above I do prefer the cricket the most.
