Does anyone have one of these? If so what is yours like on battery? Mine just stops flashing yet my batterys day there is nearly full power in them. if I change the batterys it works again.

What batteries are you using? Ideally you need something with 2000mAh plus, the ones from the poundshops and suchlike tend to be around 800mAh

i couldn't even guess dude, i sold mine a few weeks back with the rest of my sony gear so i couldn't even test it out now. it was easily twice as many shots though, and when they began to run down they would begin to miss the odd flash. the cheap ones just stopped with no warning at all!
 
I use sevendayshop 2100&2900mAh as well Ansmann 2950mAh all work perfect and the price was good for them.


on 2900 and ansmann 2950 about 200-300 ettl flashes and they start to miss out... but that is with ettl

2100mAh I use as extra back up :)

How much did you pay for them?
 
about fiver on each 4x2100 and 4x2900 and 8quid for ansmann

+ i bought from there charger about 9quid.... so that make 25£ for quite decent battery sets and a charger with lcd screen a discharge function and it can charge 1-4 battery simultaneously and charge takes on ansmann about 3-4h a big plus it has a usb socket and it came with car 12v adopter.

I've been using Energizer Lithium AA's, they're just brilliant. I got a few hundred flashes on a single batch, easily. Only using the cheap throw away Energizers at the moment because the useless twonks at my local Jessops had sold out of the Lithium ones :thinking:

Think I will go with the rechargeable as will save me loads in the long run but thanks for contributing.
