I find myself going back to this picture time and time again.
Personally, I'm not sure why
So, I thought I'd open it up to the forum to garner some thoughts ...
Everything's pretty much in focus for this kind of shot, but it's hard to tell what the subject matter is to be honest. The perspective of the road leads to "a van" which isn't hugely interesting, so is the subject matter the bike, the girls, the architecture, the cobbles? It would work if there was something unusual to look at but there isn't, so all in all I'm afraid it's rather lacking, sorry.
Don't be sorry - this is what i was looking for (i think).
I still like it (but can think of some improvements), but I was interested in peoples thoughts.
Took other pics that day that i like, but that they had friends that i know in the picture. I don't know any of the people in this picture. (doesn't mean i am a voyeur does it )
Hell no. Take a look at some of the threads on the forum relating to "street" photography and you'll find that it's a specialist style all its own. Tricky to do when it involves close ups of strangers. Takes guts.
