I've just bought myself a 5 in 1 reflector from ukpartsdeal on ebay. I ordered it at 10pm on Thursday and its just arrived this morning - Saturday. It cost me £9.95 inc delivery. Checked it out and the quality seems pretty good. Just wasted the last hour though trying to get it back into it's back, but then found this easy to understand video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Be069P_QplA&NR=1
and it's now back in its bag. I just need to learn how to use it now.

Great buy! The only problem is learning how to get it back in :bonk: but it's OK after a bit of practice

You have to be a bit ruthless packing it back in. It works fine.

Reflector is a great accessory, and particularly at that price. You can also use the white cloth one as a diffuser, or as a reflector when in bright sunshine (silver reflects too much light in those conditions, making the models complain).

If you think that it is difficult getting a 5 in 1 reflector back in the bag imagine trying to get TWO 7 foot by 6 foot versions back in the bag that have flat side and rounded corners!!! The HiLite background is an absolute nightmare !!!!!

Good luck with the reflector they are very useful :)

And if you think that's difficult try doing the 8 foot by 7 foot HiLite!

Thanks for the tip.

Thanks everyone. I think I've nailed it now. Got it back in 15 secs. It's childs play after trying to get my Quecheda 205cm high Pop up camping tent http://www.quechua.com/EN/seconds-base-xl-67797809/ folded back up into its little bag. You should have seen the fun we had with that.:D
Incidentally the above tent would make a great hide.

That's the first thing that came up to my mind after watching that youtube video in your first post. It folds very similar to quechua tents :D

Really? I found (granted with a bit of practice) that 20 seconds or so was enough to pack one back in it's bag.

Excellent! This was the next thing on my list so I've just ordered a 42" one.:D

Me too! I only got the Lastolite 6' x 7' the other day. At first I tried doing it as a two man job but found if you grab a corner, wedge the other corner with your foot to get a hold of it, it's basically no harder than folding a regular small reflector.

It must just be me but I have no end of problems with all these fold up things!

I once managed to fold my 7x5 ground up in 15 sec's When I then went to show some body it a few days later guess what ????????? Yes thats right back to youtube as I couldn't do it again.

Thats nearly my story but only as far as the word ground....

I once managed to fold my 7x5 !

The last time I had my 60" x 40" one out, I spent half the night under the damn thing before I finally managed to get it back into its bag....

4 secs to fold it up today. Very pleased with myself, but decided I'd better try it every day so that I can remember how to do it. Took my TZ10 out yesterday for a change and forgot how to adjust the aperture, felt a right idiot.:bang:

I've never had one myself but know how to put them back, used to have a frisby when i was a kid that folded up just like those reflectors lol.

yes the 5 in 1 was one of my best purchases, I use it loads, helps bring my kids eyes out, the diffuser is great when the sun is coming in too strong thru the window and I have used the black for a mini background.

Is that when it shoots open before they move out of the way.:D
