...habit of a lifetime and bought new not used.

After selling my loved and much-used 24-60mm f/2.8 to move to primes, I've been rocking a 35mm AF-D f/2. Picked it up used, as with pretty-much all my kit.
Today, though, after a long and fruitless search for a used 50mm AF-S f/1.4 G I've ordered (from Gray's) a new copy. They have them on special at £289 with a 2 year warranty, vs £250+ used on eBay - when they turn up. No brainer.
I'll get some pics up once it arrives and I've had a chance to tinker.
