............... love the difference it makes , not overly worried about battery life , i was just finding it too light and small in my hands , plus portrait shots were a pain in the ass , definitely worth the small expense for a 3rd party grip , if you can find one of these for a good price then i would go for it

Your right they do make a difference, just got one for the K20d. Wasnt prepared to pay nearly a hundred quid for genuine one, so got one from these guys http://stores.shop.ebay.co.uk/Hong-Kong-Supplies__W0QQ_armrsZ1
plus free battery. Three weeks shipping though, works fine no probs. And only £40.
