Kenko Extension Tubes vs Raynox DCR 250

Hi everyone
I'm buying a Nikon 105mm VR Micro lens at the end of the month, and wondered if anyone has any experience of using this lens coupled with either the kenko extension tubes or the raynox dcr 250 and which of the two combinations people would recommend more?

Normal (basic) tubes and a 105mm micro d .... works very well... have a browse through the flickr pages (linked on the 105mm link). Some are 105mm some with all three tubes. Lighting is usually onboard flash.


Haven't used the raynow as I think you need more mm... like 150/200 or more...
 
Tubes. The advantage of the Raynox is it's cheap, and very easy to carry and use. Tubes will be better quality, and more versatile.

Try the lens first and see how you get on. 1:1 is pretty damn close without any extras.
