Kingfisher from late Nov/Dec last year.

I have been impressed with all the Kinfisher photos on this forum, there have been some really excellent ones. I was fortunate enough to see them on a number of occasions late last year and wanted to go back to Fairburn today, however they were shut Good job I phoned up first.

So I decided to go through my archives and picked out the better ones. Most were shot in the shade in fairly poor light unfortunately.

Hopefully the weather hasn't been too cruel to them, they are magnificent birds and I could watch them for hours.
