Hi All. I've always been fascinated with Kingfishers and would love to get the chance of photographing them in the wild. I've not got my hands on a 500/4 so want to have a go.
Can anyone recommend me a kingfisher hide I could visit (preferable north ish of England, although happy to travel)? I've going a couple down south for around £150 per day.

Any info greatly appreciated.

If I remember correct, it's the rufford hide were the kingfisher normally is, but there was nothing about the last time I was there a few months ago.

But I just went on the spare, don't know if there is a preferred time to get the kingfisher shots ?.

My mate has a great set up and loads of visits from both male & female.
I personally wouldn't pay for my shots but lots of people do and get images that would take many hours to get.
Hide is Nr Leeds (y)
