Out in the garden yesterday and this kite came along, my longest lens is my 80-200 so these are big crops lucky for me he/she was fairly low down.

I don't normally get any round by me as I am by the cost but it was a welcome sight.




Very big crop hence the loss in quality.



I did not realise how big they are.

Look good here also! I am also on the coast, and saw one last week, but by the time I got my 70-200 lens on it had gone - typical!:)
 
Looks nice and sharp to me and can hardly notice any noise
 
For a big crop you have done well, number 1 especially is a good image, well done (y)
 
Thanks all for the comments, I had to use +1.7 comp to get the detail out in the bird.
 
To say these have been cropped the image is still very good - love to see these birds.
If anyone hasn't seen a Red Kite before these birds in flight are beautiful and a lot bigger than you would think. I was shocked at the size when i saw one for the first time last year.
