Hi there,

Firstly .....

Disclaimer: I'm not a big fan of cat pictures

However, we've just got two new kittens for our yard. And whilst the are growing I think they're great for a few shots.

Having never taken a photo of a cat before these two came along, I was not sure what the right pose (as if you can get a cat to pose!) would work. I eneded up with a handful of shots inside the stable and this one was the best. This is Jessie the girl, her brother Wilbur was hiding.

Lovely shot, the B&W works well here with the nice shadow across her face, composition is good and her eye looks sharp to me.

lighting is hard right hand with the kitten looking left...some fill to catch the darkened eye would have put a highlight there...a small white object...say a t shirt draped over a chair

what is she looking at??
