Just been out for a pretty epic walk and ended up in Knaresborough. Captured this landscape just as I was approaching. Best viewed large :)

Too much foreground?

Or too much sky, perhaps?

There is a lot of foreground, but I like the detailed texture of the bare trees. I think it might even work better if you hadn't cut off the bottoms of the trees.

But the sky is very bare, and I don't think it adds much to the picture. If you cropped it just above the top of the steeple, i think t would be an improvement.

More obstruction than foreground.

Being all similar tones it just looks a confusing scene with what could be a subject in the middle. Sorry.

I think those are all fair comments now I look at it again. I think I know what I was trying to achieve but perhaps didn't so.

Look! It's a cow!

I agree that the sky is the main culprit here. Crop it and try to increase the fg contrast. Maybe even try monotone? :)

Some individual elements would probably make a nice subject, but with so much in the frame, it all gets a little lost.
