What chance have i got into getting into photography with this camera, bear in mind im new to this, i think it takes good pictures but as a novice so i suppose i would. Should i give up now with it or do you think theres a possibility of getting some good photos?

Its got some decent reviews. But that's not what matters. Any old camera will get you into photography if you want to get into photography.

If you think it takes good photos then that's fine. All that's required is that you have fun and get enjoyment out of it.
