Landscape lens advice ?

Recently bought a EOS 5D Mk2 body, looking advice for a landscape lens to shoot on a full frame sensor etc...

I recently picked up a Canon EF 24-105mm f/4 L which is away to Canon UK for a repair etc, I also own a Samyang 35mm f1.4 and an EF 50mm f/1.8 MkII lens.

Are there any benefits soley using the likes of a wide angle PRIME lens for better quality I wonder?
In the past I've used a Samyang 14mm f/2.8 but personally found it too wide on my 5D Mk1 (full frame) body.

Any suggestions/advice/knowledge would be greatly appreciated! I mainly shoot manual focus so any suggestions of any lens size length between say 20mm--25mm would be brilliant.

Given the stipulations you've given I'm not sure you'd get much more out of a lens other that what you've already got from the 24-105

If you want wider you could go for 17-40 or 16-35 or any of the sub 24mm primes but you don't sound like you want an UWA

If the budget is not an issue then the Zeiss 21/2.8 is excellent. I used the Nikon mount version (manual aperture) until I happened across an Eos mount one. A little narrower but also excellent is the Zeiss 25/2 which has the added advantage of being a fair bit cheaper.

Edit....don't discount the TS-E24 MkII either.
