Laptop advice

Looking to replace my laptop, thinking of a larger screen, maybe 19" or 20" or do others feel the 17" is OK. Main use will be for photo processing (Photoshop + Lightroom). I have always had Dell and would like to continue but price may be a restricting factor.

Any suggestions would be appreciated, also any special configuration requirements for photo processing. What screen type is best.

If this has already been discussed at length maybe a link to the appropriate thead.

Best screen is non-shiny IPS (IMHO). Not many lappys have that and those that do are pricey.

Have you thought of a laptop with external IPS monitor for serious processing? That way, you get small formfactor for portability, bigger monitor for processing.

As to specs, i3/i5/i7 (depending on price point) running W7 64bit with at least 4G memory.
