Truly stunning, best I think I have ever seen...Very very well done you. They are so sharp you could cut yourself(y)

Great shots, well done, sharp & focus spot on

These are excellent.

Thanks all for your comments, appreciate them.

You must have been close, shame the feet are chopped in #1, but great shots
Ken I was struggling to get all of the lapwings in frame due to the distance, especially the ones taken in landscape.

great shots, from a hide? :)
drew
Yes Drew, all were taken from a hide

Agree, a great set of shots.

Love the Lapwing shots. I had a similar problem in January with a male Lapwing, he got so close I just couldnt fit the feet in properly, so concentrated on the plumage and his head lol. Fabulous looking birds when the sun is on them arent they.

All crackers but the last Snipe is the pick for me.

Lovely detail.
#1 would have been my favourite but its a shame about the feet.
Its a tough call between #2 & #4, but I think #2 by a gnats willie (y)

Thanks again to everyone. There were 8 Snipe in front of the hide feeding from about 3 to 6 yards of us, and as this shows it's not always the early bird that catches the worm.;):)
