Yes
I've had the misfortune to bounce my Canon 50d on a rather hard rock :bonk: and cracked the rear screen. I've found a video on you tube showing how to replace one on a 5d and assume it's the same for mine. Can anyone confirm that, and has anyone actually done it themselves and care to give any pointers.

Also I'd like to add that I've ordered a replacement one from Eurohitech Photographic Services Ltd and within two minutes of me placing the order they emailed to confirm order and minutes later confirmed dispatch.
Andy.

When I've read up about this most say use a suction device (sat nav holder) to lift the screen off, as less chance of doing more damage than trying to get a tool under the screen.

Never tried one, hopefully will never have to. Good luck with this, let us know how you got on. Good tip on the sucker device, got to be better than lifting it with your finger nails.

maybe post up a pictorial of the process you used to give anyone trying it in the future some tips on how to do it.
