Lee filter hoods

There seem to be several types - standard, wideangle and universal.

The first two I would guess are inline with standard and wideangle lens - when would the universal one be used ?

I need a wideangle one for my filter set but no one seems to stock them

From the Robert White website:-

Designed for general and wide angle use. This hood is equipped with two filter slots by default; which unlike the older hoods, can be added to or removed allowing multiple filters to be used in conjunction. Additional slots can be purchased and attached if required. Another advantage of this hood is that it accepts the 105mm Front Polariser Ring, allowing use of a 105mm screw in polariser.
