I wonder if anybody can help?

I have just received a lens adapter - Pentax (pk) to EOS - how do they fit together? For the life of me I cannot work it out. When I think I've done it the damn lens falls off. I am sure I must be missing something.

If it's like my FIL's Pentax to Minolta adapter he has (Pentax lens to Minolta / Sony body) the adapter connects to the lens and then fixes to his camera body as if it was a Minolta lens.

Just a note to be aware of, he picked one up from SRG at the Focus On Imaging show and we sat in the car for 30mins trying to get the thing to fit and just couldn't work it out - took it back and they confirmed it was the correct adapter, but the pin / lever out the back of the lens was hitting the adapter and they said they needed to look for a different make that would allow this - they took it back no problem.

Could possibly be this ???
