Lens advise

Hi all
I'm looking to buy a new lens I have the Nikon kit lens 18-55 f3.5 and a Sigma 70 -200 f2.8, what I would like is something to replace the kit lens giving me f2.8 for low light and maybe up to 105 ish, any suggestions could go up to about £450

I can only think of 24-70s, then at least you'll have 24-200 at f2.8

Hmmm.... 18-105mm at f/2.8 for £450? It's not going to happen, at any price.

Nobody makes an f/2.8 zoom with a range of more than about 3x. I guess it's just too difficult.

As John says, you could go for a 24-70mm f/2.8, but that's not very wide at the wide end. You won't get a Nikon one for £450, even used, but you could afford a Sigma.

Alternatively there are several zooms available which are 17/18-50/55mm at f/2.8. I think that's a more useful range for you. The Nikon 17-55 is out of your price bracket, even used, but there are various options from the likes of Sigma and Tamron.
