Lens dust

I can see a tiny spec of dust on the inside of my lens (55-250mm). It's near the outer part and doesn't show up on pictures. How is this possible and can it be removed or should I forget about it?

Dust will get in, can't avoid it over time especially in zooms ... if it doesn't affect your pics ignore it.

As Gramps says, unfortunately, dust can get in over time, so don't worry about it
