Lens Filter (For MF Film Cameras)

Hello all,
Being a bit of a newbie here i would like a little help please.
I have seen a Luxon 62mm PL Linear Polarizer / Polarizing Lens Filter (For MF Film Cameras) but as it states for "film"
Is this ok for Digital ?
Sorry i have searched the forums but to no avail.

Linear polarisers screw with the autofocus on more modern cameras, film or digital (hence why they specify it is for manual focus or 'MF' cameras). You would need a circular polariser for any camera with autofocus, which would be most digital cameras.

can mess with exposure too, but its mostly a non issue in everyway
