Hey,

Well I just landed myself a new job working with the environment and it means I will be out in rural-ness most of the time. So I though why not get a nice lens for Landscapes.

Can anyone suggest any decent ones?

I was thinking of the Canon 17-40mm f/4 L USM EF Lens 17-40F4?

SB

Sigma 10-20mm seems to be the go-to lens around here for landscapes. I'm in the process of tracking one down myself. It probably also depends what other lens(es) you have to compliment it

either the 17-40 F/4L or the 10-20 would be good choices, if funds permit, get both :D

Unless I've missed something are you not going to struggle to fit either of those to your Pentax

Rural-ness? In Southend????! But congratulations anyway.

Like everyone says, 17-40L. Or EF-S 10-22 if you want really wide. You know where to go if you want to try before you buy. Talk to me nicely and I'll see whether we can do a discount for Southend United season ticket holders.
