Lens recommendation

I am looking for a Nikon fit macro lens and wondered what you recommend. I have a Two DX bodies, one with built in focus motor and one without.
Is the Sigma 105mm OS a good choice?

Tokina 100mm f2.8 is highly rated and reasonably priced. It won't AF without the motor in the body but you'll probably be in manual focus for macro anyway.

I've not used it but I would have bought it instead of a used nikkor 105mm 2.8D (the old one, not the G one with VR) if I had done my research properly. Pricing wasn't much different between used nikkor 105D and new Tokina.

MPB had a used Tokina in the other day reasonably priced.
