I am looking for some advice. I am planning on buying a Cannon EOS D7 camera. I am planning to use it for wildlife photography (mainly shooting birds). I think I have narrowed my lens choices down to either a Sigma 150-500mm f5-6.3 DG OS HSM Canon EOS Fit or a Canon Telephoto EF 300mm f/4 with a Canon 1.4x EF Extender. Either way I was trying to keep to a budget of around £1,500 for the lens (Could be stretched a little further if you have any other suggestions).
Has anyone used either of these lenses and could offer advice on the pro and cons of either/both.
