Lens to fit another Nikon

I actually can't believe he just found this but my Husband just found a brand new Nikon F65 in the loft that he forgot he WON at his old work place 7 years ago!!!! Now i know nothing about SLR's apart from what i have been shown in the shop and i liked the look and feel of a D90.

Now for the stupid question. Will the 2 lenses that are also in this case fit another more modern Nikon or are they just built to fit the same ones for years?
The lenses are Nikon AF Nikkor 70-300mm and 28-80mm.

yes they will fit and auto focus on the D90, but not the D40/60/3000/5000.

not the greatest lenses in the world, but still pretty good :D
 
Brilliant, thank you for that. Like i said, i haven't got a clue what the lens even do. I'm just going through the case now.
 
Yup, they should work with all Nikon Digital SLRs except for the ones mentioned above.

To a point they will even work with the D40/60/3000/5000, but you'll get manual focus only, not autofocus.

The D90 isn't a bad little bit of kit though, should work a treat with one of those. :)
