Looking to order a light meter in the next couple of days, mainly to use with my home studio set-up (basic 3 head kit+white background/floor).

I've seen the Sekonic 308s for around £130 that looks like it would do the job (link), is this suitable or are there are better alternatives for sub £150?

Thanks:)

If it was me I would save for an extra week or two and get the sekonic 358 if you are using 3 lights, it's £174 at onestop digital.
I use a 358 with a 3 head setup and it's a nice peice of kit, it also has the ability to take the wireless module at a later date.

Can't comment on Polaris, but I have a 758 and think it's great. The 358 is an excellent choice too; having a PocketWizard transmitter in it is absolutely invaluable when setting up studio lighting on your own. Of course, that depends on whether you set-up by testing or lighting ratio's. I tend to mix it!
