As the weather was rubbish today, I looked through some images from last year. I have attempted to PP this one before but I think this attempt is better.

I like it, it's a realistic rendition although I'd raise the shadows on the foreground/lighthouse a little to bring out the detail
 
I think the to go for shot here is one with a longer lens and a tighter framing. More shadow detail or not - the foreground features aren’t interesting - they’re just standard coastal fodder - the interesting thing is the lighthouse so to me it makes sense to frame it bigger in the frame, or crop this wide losing a chunk of the bottom.

Try cropping this say 3:1 or 2.85:1 framing just see and lighthouse then maybe pull a bit more shadows out and voila - you’ll have a nice shot. Me though - if I ever shot here I’d be taking something like a 50mm or 70-200 along
