Light Trails (I had to have a try)

seen so many on here and decided to take the plunge today and go to my local motorway and see what I could manage as it was getting near sunset

Nice! You chose a good winding bit of motorway! Leads the eye nicely...

That's a fine location I really like the curve you could have done with a little longer exposure, this would have given a little smoother trails and also allow the vehicle with the amber beacons to continue out of frame
