Lighting book recommendations

I'm being bugged about what I would like for Xmas and the only thing I can come up with is I would like a book that will teach me about lighting. From on Camera flash to studio lighting via remote flash guns.

Can anyone recommend a good one please?

i recently got a book from amazon which was recomended by a few others on here

Light, Science & Magic is the definitive book on the physics of light. Highly recommended.

Of course, I also recommend my own books for specific guidance on various types of photography/lighting

It is a "must have" for lighting, takes yoou through from the very basic and up onto the advanced stuff, with little excersises to try out if you feel the need to.
