Lightroom Badges in Filmstrip

This is a strange one, I'm sure that in Lightroom 1.x there were the little badges in the film strip for when you've changed exposure/cropped/added metadata as well as the clickable grey blob to add to the quick collection, however on Lightroom 2.1 these seem to not be there, I've checked the view settings for the film strip and the box for badges is ticked but they still don't show.

Has anyone else seen this? Or know how to fix it?

If the thumbs are too small the badges aren't drawn so re-size the film strip by dragging the line running across the top up.

Well done that man! It works a treat, only had to drag it up a few px!
