Lightroom Question - Part deux

Okay, still messing about with lightroom - so my next question ..

I have started my catlog and keywording.

I have some of the same images in RAW & Jpeg format in a folder, in the catalog.

If I delete one of these images from the folder (and hard drive) will it autmatically update in the catalog or do i have to do something manually ?

I know i could try this out - but it's nice getting advice off those of you who are supreme in these matters!!!

If you get Lightroom to do the deletion it will update the catalog. If you do it manually it wont and you'll get the "?" by each image

Do everything from inside Lightroom and you'll be fine!
