Today i managed to go on the roof tour in Lincoln Cathedral, the building never fails to amaze and fascinate me. It takes approx an hour and a half and it involves quite a lot of stairs. If like the OH your not a fan of heights the windy narrow staircases are a challenge on the way down.

I thoroughly recommend it though as the history of the building is fantastic (although the guide spoke at 100mph! although at 76 he went up the stairs like a 20 year old).

Heres a few pics,

I think 2 is great would like the last aswell but I think the big buildign at the front doesnt look straight or is that just me

like 2 and 3, but 3 looks like it should be on underground dig.

Nice work :) I like how number 3 shows off the raw construction... they really worked miracles back then with these buildings!

Thanks for the comments!

The stain glass window is this one from the other side

The third photo is up in the roof space (i did mean to caption it but totally forgot!), if you look in the second picture where the arches are. The picture was taken above on the top side of the arches. The contrast really surprised me, on one side one of the most stunning buildings in Britain and on the other a case of slap it on no-one will see it anyway!

Im not sure if in the last picture its because the archway is off at an angle or its me taking wonky pics, the horizon looks straightish. To be honest ive done absolutely no PP to any of them, straight to jpeg and on here.
