Hi I've got a Linux g10 as my first dslr happy with it so far but the lenses are so expensive are the macro filter lenses any good if so is there a good make

Nope
If you want to do macro do a bit of reading up on extension tubes, could probably pick some up on ebay for £40-50 or so (assuming someone makes them for that mount)

Thanks nano I've just looked them up on eBay I can get 3 rings and lens attachments for £17 slightly cheaper than £600 and the write up seems a lot better than the filters

Canon and Nikon are good, though both are relatively expensive and the Nikon ones have been discontinued for some time but are sometimes available used.

If you want to find a reasonable close-up lens/filter, have a look for Marumi Achromats. These are dual-element lenses like the Canon and Nikon items others have recommended.
Be careful with the cheap extension tubes as they will remove all electrical connections between camera and lens, leaving you with completely manual exposure and focussing. Although manual focussing isn't a problem with macro work, I don't know if it's possible to set the aperture manually on 4/3 cameras so this is something to consider.
