Little brownie

I couldn't resist the nice, cloudy and almost nice weather today and went for a stroll and i got this little chap on the way back (I have no idea what species it is):

Oddly, there were just crows (not of the Lee family ) and a few ducks at the place I went to. Strangely, no shots of the crows I took there are worth showing

Comments, critiques and bird ID are quite welcome.

It's a female blackbird. Nice shot - just looking a bit too light. A boost of contrast will make all the difference. It's suffereing a bit from compression too at only 77kb

I agree with CT it is looking a bit flat but a boost in contrast should correct that, I do like the angle and pose you`ve caught though
