Had a spare hour or so, so went for a mooch around the historic area of Little Germany in Bradford. This area is full of victorian textile warehouses, and is named little Germany due to it's past trading history.

Hi Rob, they are made of sand stone, the same as the buildings, i've not been able to find any story behind them.
