I love it! Im a total newbie but im really into this kind of thing. I allways hated flash on the camera, but the Nikon CLS system is fantastic, so much more control.

The off camera flash seems like it was straight in front of her face as it leaves a dark shadow behind... which is the idea of using it off camera to be able to eliminate them?

Have I got that wrong?

I used Nikon CLS, the flash was to the left of the camera the Focal Length = 200mm i was stood well back, you can see the shadow falls at an angle indicating its not on the camera.
The "idea" of using off camera flash to me is to create a more intetesting lighting and to have fun. This was my first time using this system, i have lots to learn!

Hey i love your site Sakura, some fantastic stuff there, Ive just started shooting for a small free Leeds based music mag, your work is exactley what i like to do, great stuff, think ill add you to my myspace!
You say the flash is a little high, you may be right but there is no blown highlights and they look a lot better larger, thanks again, ill look more into the flash settings.
Si
