I have an Olympus E-PL5 which uses a Live View system rather than optical like an SLR.
With an optical viewfinder on the SLR the view was always with the aperture wide open, only stepping down at the point of taking the shot.
Is there any way to replicate this with my E-PL5?
Currently the Live View shows the aperture that is set at any point in time, not just when taking the shot.
The issue is, if I am using off camera flash I am effectively underexposing the shot as far as the camera is aware.
OK, I can get around it by manual opening up the aperture, focus and compose etc, then stop back down, but it is a bit of a pain.
Any solutions?
Probably the only negative I have had since swapping to M43!
