London Shard

I know this isn't meant to be critiques on choices of title, but the photo's point of focus and contrasty parts are all on the foreground - The Shard looks quite blurry and doesn't really feel like what the picture is about, or even that central to it.
 
As a photo of The Shard, it doesn't work... The Shard is very much a background element. As a photo of inner London, I like it.
 
I like it as an urban scene but do wonder if a extra 1/2 to 1 stop of exposure would have bought out the foreground buildings better without affecting the sky too much. Looks like there is room in the exposure to me.
